Thomas Tuchel, the current Bayern Munich manager, may potentially stay with the club despite previous uncertainty about his future
Tuchel has had a challenging season, missing out on the Bundesliga title and being eliminated from the Champions League.
However, he has a strong managerial record, including a Champions League title with Chelsea in 2021.
Manchester United had been interested in Tuchel as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag, but it now appears that Tuchel may remain at Bayern Munich.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a reliable transfer expert, Tuchel’s future at Bayern Munich depends on several factors, including the club’s transfer plans, squad development, and board support.
Romano stated, “It’s now a possibility for Tuchel to stay, but there are several points being discussed… Tuchel will only stay if Bayern are really 100% convinced, all the people into the club and not just some of them.” Tuchel was spotted meeting with the Bayern Munich board recently, indicating ongoing negotiations.
This development may disappoint Manchester United fans, who saw Tuchel as a promising candidate to replace Ten Hag.
Nevertheless, Tuchel’s potential stay at Bayern Munich could give him another opportunity to succeed and build on the club’s recent strong form towards the end of the season.
