TikTok sensation Khaby Lame has been ordered to leave the US after his arrest by U.S. immigration officials at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Friday, June 6
He was arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his visa.

The 25-year-old was subsequently ordered to leave the country under a voluntary departure agreement.
Lame, who was born in Senegal and holds Italian citizenship, had entered the United States on April 30 and made a high-profile appearance at the Met Gala on May 5.
His detention was reportedly part of a broader immigration crackdown under the Trump administration’s renewed enforcement directives.
Despite being taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Lame’s name did not appear in the agency’s public detainee database, sparking confusion and speculation online.
Still, he remained active on social media throughout the ordeal, continuing to post content on both TikTok and Instagram.
ICE confirmed the detention was part of increased enforcement actions, though specifics of Lame’s visa violation remain unclear.
