President Bola Tinubu on Monday arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of his participation in the Africa Forward Summit focused on investment and sustainable development across the continent
According to a statement released in Nairobi by Presidential Spokesperson Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s aircraft landed at about 12:18 a.m. local time.

Tinubu was received on arrival by Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, alongside Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Isaac Parashina, senior government officials, and members of Nigeria’s diplomatic mission in Nairobi.
The summit, co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, brings together African leaders, policymakers, investors, and development partners to discuss strategies for growth, innovation, and stronger continental partnerships.
Tinubu’s participation is seen as part of Nigeria’s broader effort to promote African unity, deepen regional economic cooperation, and strengthen partnerships aimed at driving sustainable development and infrastructure expansion.
Key discussions at the summit are expected to focus on economic transformation, digital innovation, trade expansion, climate resilience, infrastructure development, and long-term strategies for shared prosperity across Africa and beyond.
