President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday met behind closed doors with the extended leadership of the Senate at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss pressing national issues
According to Punch, the high-level meeting produced key decisions on matters described as urgent, although full details of the resolutions have not yet been made public.

The Senate delegation was led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and included Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro.
Also present were Senators Orji Uzor Kalu, Adamu Aliero, Danjuma Goje, and Abdul Ningi, who represent Abia North, Kebbi Central, Gombe Central, and Bauchi Central respectively.
Although discussions were extensive, officials did not disclose the specific outcomes of the meeting at the time of this report.
