President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has elevated Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari to the position of Special Adviser on Political Affairs
The development was announced on Thursday in Abuja through a statement issued by the president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Masari had earlier been appointed in 2023 as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs before the latest promotion.
The Katsina-born politician previously served as the Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress during the tenure of former party chairman, Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
In his new role as Special Adviser, Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, who was appointed by President Tinubu to a similar position in July 2023.
