Tinubu’s Alleged Apology: Bode George Only Seeking Relevance- Aide

Remember in an exclusive interview with Punch on Sunday which
was reported here, PDP Chieftain Bode George was quoted to have said Asiwaju
Ahmed Tinubu has apologized to him. According to him, Tinubu was asked to apologize
to him last year at the burial ceremony of Alao Ariseokola in Ibadan for conspiring
with others to put him in jail, which he did publicly, he said.

Tinubu’s media aide, Sunday Dare however feels the PDP
chieftain is only looking for political relevance which has left him, and
    shouldn’t be taken seriously.
While responding to a text message sent to him by Vanguard
about the alleged apology, Mr Dare replied the newspaper saying…. Please
    continue…
“Bode George takes himself too seriously. He is in search of
political relevance, which has since deserted him.”

“Tinubu bears Bode George no ill feelings. Although Bode
George has used every media interview to attack Tinubu, Tinubu has hardly
    responded.

“The task of nation building, presently at hand, is more
    urgent than this distraction.”
