Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has expressed renewed confidence in Nigeria’s future under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

In an interview on Nigeria Info FM, Lagos, Daddy Freeze admitted he initially had concerns about Tinubu’s administration but now sees signs of progress, particularly in the power sector.
“With President Bola Tinubu, I don’t think Nigeria is in trouble. I was scared initially, but I’m seeing the work he is doing in the power sector,” he said.
Using an analogy, he compared Nigeria to an overloaded tipper with a faulty engine, stressing that any leader, like a mechanic, would struggle to fix it.
He urged Nigerians to be patient, emphasizing that the country’s deep-rooted issues require time and sustained effort to resolve.
“I was worried initially, but with the way this regime has handled things up until now, I am leaning towards the fact that we finally have hope in this country,” he added.
