Veteran Nigerian actor Tioruju Mondusi has spoken about a past hospital admission that lasted about three months, giving his account of events that unfolded during his stay.
He said the situation began when he observed changes in his health and raised the issue with a nurse on duty. According to him, the discussion led to a private follow-up during the nurse’s night shift.
Mondusi claimed that what followed between them became personal, and that the matter did not end there. He said other nurses later became aware of what had taken place, and this led to further involvement that created disagreement among the staff.
He explained that the disagreement among the nurses escalated and affected the general atmosphere in the hospital. In his account, the tension eventually made his continued stay difficult.
Mondusi said the situation eventually led to a decision for him to leave the hospital before completing his treatment.
He was quoted as saying:
“I was sent out of the hospital after three nurses f+ught over me for having mekwe with them”
He also referred to his condition during admission, saying:
“p+nis wasn’t active”
