Nigerian sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan has claimed Gold in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League with a season-best time
The world record holder crossed the finish line in 12.28 seconds at Stade Charléty, producing a commanding display to finish ahead of her rivals and secure another Diamond League title.

American athlete Grace Stark placed second with a time of 12.38 seconds, while fellow American Johnson finished third in 12.39 seconds.
Amusan’s winning time equalled her fastest performance of the season, matching the 12.28 seconds she recorded earlier this year at the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings.
The competition took place under an adjusted schedule after an intense heatwave affected France over the weekend, forcing organisers to cancel youth and regional club events.
Despite temperatures climbing to 32 degrees Celsius on Sunday, the 29-year-old remained unfazed, producing a composed and dominant run.
Amusan made a strong start, cleared the hurdles with remarkable precision, opened up a comfortable lead midway through the race, and powered home to another impressive victory.
