Toke Makinwa has stirred buzz online after revealing that she’s been receiving numerous marriage proposals from men shortly after expressing her openness to polygamous marriage
Just hours after her appearance on a podcast where she boldly declared her willingness to become a second, third, or even fifth wife, Toke took to Instagram to share screenshots of several proposals that landed in her email.
“In all honesty, at this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it,” she said during the interview.
True to her words, her inbox was soon filled with messages from interested suitors. One message read, “GOAL: Can we get married? – proposes marriage, based in Ibadan, works as senior data analyst.”
Another hopeful admirer wrote, “Admiration/Interested: Can a man of 50 years with 4 kids without a wife again, total bank account of 500000, marry you?”
Her post quickly went viral, drawing reactions from fans and followers. While some found the responses amusing, others praised her for being honest about her relationship preferences.
