Despite his legendary football career, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady admitted he has made many mistakes as a father.
Brady, who shares a 17-year-old son, Jack, with Bridget Moynahan, and younger children Benjamin and Vivian with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, opened up about his parenting challenges during a panel at the 2024 Fortune Global Forum in New York City.
When asked how he motivates his kids, given the enormous shadow of his success, Brady shared, “All of the parents in the room know that being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have. And we screw up a lot.”
He added, “I’ve screwed up a lot as a parent,” acknowledging he’s not an expert in parenting.
Brady explained that he aims to be a dependable and consistent father, offering strong support for his children’s pursuits.
He also noted that it “sucks to be Tom Brady’s son” at times, recognizing the pressure his kids face growing up in his shadow.
