Arsenal has confirmed that Takehiro Tomiyasu has left the club
The club says its by mutual consent, bringing an end to the Japanese defender’s time at the Emirates.
The 26-year-old joined Arsenal from Serie A side Bologna in August 2021 and went on to make 84 appearances across all competitions.
Tomiyasu quickly adapted to life in North London, making an immediate impact at right-back. He was named Arsenal’s Player of the Month in September 2021 and earned the accolade again in October 2023.
