Tottenham Hotspur has reached a £65 million agreement with Bournemouth for the transfer of striker Dominic Solanke
The deal consists of an initial £55 million payment, with an additional £10 million possible through performance-based bonuses.
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has prioritized acquiring a center-forward this summer to bolster the team’s depth.
Solanke’s contract included a £65 million release clause for top Premier League clubs.
Postecoglou confirmed the move, stating that Solanke will miss a friendly due to a minor injury but is expected to recover within three to four days.
The Tottenham manager had previously emphasized the need for another center-forward option, citing the team’s playing style.
