The 24-year-old midfielder has signed a six-year contract with Spurs, marking a major summer acquisition for the North London club. This move also makes Kudus the first player to transfer directly between West Ham and Tottenham since Scott Parker in 2011.

Kudus underwent his medical on Thursday and is expected to wear the No. 20 shirt. Known for his versatility, the former Ajax star can operate as a central attacking midfielder or on the wing, adding creativity and depth to manager Thomas Frank’s squad.

Since joining the Premier League in 2023, Kudus has made 65 appearances for West Ham, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists. His dribbling ability, close control, and eye for goal have made him one of the most exciting midfielders in the league.

The transfer is part of Tottenham’s ongoing rebuild, following a disappointing 17th-place finish last season. Kudus becomes the club’s fifth signing of the summer, alongside Kota Takai, Kevin Danso, Mathys Tel, and a yet-to-be-announced goalkeeper.

Kudus is expected to make his debut in Spurs’ pre-season match on July 19, with his Premier League bow likely to come on August 16 against Burnley.
