Toyin Abraham has made a passionate plea to her fans, asking them to refrain from pirating her latest movie, Alakada: Bhad and Boujee
The actress took to social media to share a personal experience, revealing that a fan was recently caught recording the film at a cinema.
According to her, the person erased the video after confrontation, and she chose not to escalate it.
However, she made it clear that she will not intervene if anyone is caught attempting to pirate her work in the future.
Abraham’s message was met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow industry professionals, who urged others to respect intellectual property and support the industry by watching films legally in cinemas.
The actress’s plea comes as her latest film, Alakada: Bhad and Boujee, continues to break box office records, raking in N134M in its first week.
