Nigerian fashion designer Toyin Lawani recently shared on social media how much she spends on her daughter’s monthly rent, which has gained significant attention online.
The fashion entrepreneur, whose daughter turned 19 a few months ago, revealed that she pays the equivalent of ₦8.2 million monthly for her daughter’s rent.
She praised parents who raise their children in the UK, noting that they are doing an impressive job.
In her post, Toyin compared the rent she pays in the UK to what is typical in Nigeria, mentioning that her daughter’s rent is higher than some people’s annual rent in Nigeria.
