Transport Worker Stabs Colleague To Death
A transport worker, Ibrahim Yahaya, has allegedly stabbed his colleague, Kabiru Abdullahi, to death during an argument at the Kanuri Motor Park, in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State.
Punch Metro gathered that Yahaya and Kabiru were at the park when an argument ensued between them.
The argument was said to have degenerated into a fight and in the process, Kabiru brought out a knife and allegedly stabbed Yahaya’s head.
Following the attack, Yahaya left the scene and quickly sought treatment for himself on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
After treating himself, Yahaya, in retaliation, stormed the park the following day and allegedly used a knife to stab Kabiru in the neck.
In a bid to rescue Kabiru, Punch correspondent gathered that some people, who witnessed the attack at the park, quickly rushed him to the Ebute General Hospital for treatment but he reportedly died on the way.
Kabiru’s corpse was said to have been deposited at the Infectious Disease Hospital morgue, Yaba.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect had been arrested adding that the investigation was ongoing.
