Kayla Nicole has opened up about feeling distanced from people she once considered close following her breakup with NFL star Travis Kelce over two years ago.
The 32-year-old content creator, who dated Kelce from 2017 to 2022, shared that ending the relationship meant losing not just a partner but also connections with those in his life.
On the Unapologetically Angel podcast, she spoke candidly with Angel Reese about the challenges of moving on.
“Behind closed doors, the hardest part about a break-up is just losing like a partner and a best friend and this person that you talk to every single day,” Kayla shared, adding that breaking ties with not only the person but also their friends and family has been a significant challenge.
During their relationship, Kayla was reportedly close to some of the partners of Travis’ teammates.
However, sources now claim that Taylor Swift’s presence has affected her standing in that social circle, with Marca reporting that Kayla feels “pushed out” as Taylor frequently attends games and spends time with the team’s partners.
