President Donald Trump ordered flags to be lowered across the nation to honor Dolly Parton, the iconic country singer and entertainer who died Tuesday at age 80
“Very sad to report that Dolly Parton, one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER, has just passed away,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This is a true loss for millions of people. There has never been anyone like her, and never will.”
Trump added that flags will be lowered starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday for an entire week.
“Rest in Peace, Dolly!” the president continued. “The World loves you.”
