VeryDarkMan has ignited a firestorm of controversy with his candid comments on the divorce saga of Nigerian music legend 2Baba and his wife Annie Idibia
In a fresh video clip, VDM called out media personality Toke Makinwa for her take on the couple’s marital woes, instead placing the spotlight on Annie Idibia’s role in the relationship.
According to him, Annie’s awareness of 2Baba’s chequered past, including infidelity and multiple baby mothers, should have prepared her for the challenges they ultimately faced.
VDM’s unflinching assessment sparked intense debate, with some accusing him of victim-blaming and others defending his right to free speech.
He said: “Dear women never ignore the red signs like Annie ,watin I Dey talk now go p@!n a lot of una but learn from this,if you ignore the red signs the it’s a pity,this is a lesson for yall.”
