Popular blogger Tunde Ednut has doubled down on his unwavering support for former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, despite a wave of defections among his close associates ahead of the 2027 presidential race.
The social media personality reacted emotionally to a viral video showing nightlife mogul Obi Cubana, celebrity barman Cubana Chiefpriest, and businessman E-Money (popularly linked with Zenco) unveiling campaign buses in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Clearly shaken by the political shift, Tunde admitted the development hit him hard but insisted his loyalty remains intact.
“All my men don go Tinubu side, I feel somehow inside of me, I feel pain somehow deep inside, but no wahala,, Obidient, no shaking. Peter Obi till the end. We don’t back down,” Tunde Ednut said.
He revealed that watching influential allies publicly align with the APC left him emotional, though he stressed that personal relationships would not be sacrificed on the altar of politics.
“I don’t know why, but tears just dropped from my eyes. It feels like all hope is lost now that some of our top big boys have switched to APC. They are still my people, and I can’t speak against them. If to say them no be my people, we for yarn small, but my loyalty is forever, it doesn’t switch. No wahala sha! E pain me Oo! OBidients, we move. If Peter Obi wins the primaries and gets the ticket to contest for President, let’s give him our full support. All the best. Honestly, I’m not happy at the moment. I just feel weak,” he added.
Even as political loyalties shift within his circle, Tunde made it clear: his stance is firm, his voice is loud, and his support for Peter Obi remains unshaken.
