Tunde Perry spoke about his encounters with some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, including Wizkid, Olamide and Asake.
He recalled meeting Wizkid and described how he felt when the singer held him. Perry also talked about meeting Olamide in the UK, explaining that the meeting was a private one involving just himself, Olamide’s wife and his personal assistant.
He went on to mention the financial support he received from King Ochacho and Asake, while also naming Iceking as his pick for next year’s Next Rated award after Fola, whom he identified as this year’s Next Rated.
In a conversation with Egungun Of Lagos, Perry said:
“When I met Wizkid & he held me I felt so cool, Wizkid is a star, when I met Olamide Baddoo in UK, it was a tight settings just me & his wife & P.A, king Ochacho gave me 1M naira to buy airtime & Iceking is the next rated of next year cuz Fola is the next rated of this year, Asake gave me over 10M Naira in Saudi Arabia”.
