Ubi on Instagram discussed the social media’s impact on the music business, noting its significant changes.
Ubi Franklin sees the internet and social networking as key places for new talent to emerge.
He emphasized the industry’s critical juncture, stating, “We are at a crossroads…the past is not coming back.”
Talking about how the next Davido or Burna Boy will come up, he wrote;
”We are at a crossroads in the music business: with the rise of the internet, the world we live in has changed, and the past is not coming back. But I see the glass as half-full: the internet and social networking are new avenues for the next Davido, Iyanya, Burnaboy, Wizkid, Asake, rema, Ayra Star Tems Etc to be born on.”
