A UK-based Nigerian woman has reversed her stance amid the controversy surrounding her husband’s hidden daughter
It was earlier reported a viral video that sparked outrage on social media, showing the woman confronting her husband for allegedly lying about a young girl he introduced as his niece—only for her to later discover the girl is actually his biological daughter.
The situation escalated to the point where security operatives intervened and evicted the man from their home.
However, in a surprising twist, the woman has now embraced the girl, named Chioma, as her own.
In a heartfelt TikTok video, she admitted that her reaction was driven by anger and clarified that it was never directed at the girl.
“It was out of anger, the anger was not targeted at her. I’m not ashamed to say I’m sorry. She’s my daughter and I love her so much,” she said emotionally.
Overcome with emotion as she spoke, Chioma gently comforted her with a warm embrace.
