UniAbuja Lecturers Begin Indefinite Strike Over Problems With Vice-Chancellor

UniAbuja lecturers today began an indefinite strike over
what they termed misappropriation of funds and misuse of power by the
    Vice-Chancellor of the university.
According to one of them, Ben Ugheoke, funds allocated to
the institution were being misappropriated and the Vice-Chancellor, James
Adelabu, was misusing power. He alleged that the vice-chancellor deliberately
refused to pay their teaching, marking, supervision and professional allowances
    dating back to 2010.
He told journalists today, that the strike will continue
till their appropriate dues are paid and when things get back to shape in the
    university.
