The University of Ibadan, UI, might consider candidates with low score in the 2024 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
The institution has declared that candidates who scored below 200 will be considered for admission at its Distance Learning Centre.
The institution made this declaration via a statement signed by the Director of DLC, Professor Babatunde Omobowale, on Monday.
Omobowale added that any candidate with intention to pursue undergraduate degrees in the university will be enrolled through Open Distance eLearning (ODel) mode.
He added that the institution took the decision in order to make quality education accessible to all.
New and returning students will resume in September.
