Former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo has dismissed reports that United States airstrikes in Sokoto State k!lled terrorists, insisting the operation had no impact
According to Asari, the strikes failed to hit any targets, claiming the missiles landed on unoccupied land and caused no meaningful damage. He described the entire action as staged, alleging that only drones were deployed and no real offensive was carried out.

Speaking in a video shared on X, Asari challenged both the US and Nigerian authorities, demanding evidence that even a single terrorist was eliminated during the strikes. He also maintained that Nigeria’s sovereignty makes it impossible for American troops to be deployed on its soil.
Asari further stressed that he remains unfazed by the US government and its leadership, insisting the operation only put civilians at risk rather than weakening criminal groups.
“The US army strike in Sokoto did not harm any bandits. They only dropped bombs in an open field, endangering the lives of innocent people. Do you think I’m afraid of President Donald Trump?”
