Following the court’s decision to strike out the defamation suit filed by human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, rapper Falz, against Verydarkman (VDM), the controversial social media figure responded in his usual dramatic fashion

In a video shared online, VDM was seen mockingly celebrating the outcome by singing a gospel song in gratitude. He called on his friend, Kokopee, to join him as they both sang the popular worship chorus, “Angels are singing, you are good.” The moment, clearly laced with sarcasm, was VDM’s way of thanking God for the ruling in his favor.
The lawsuit, which sought N500 million in damages, was struck out by Justice Matthias Dawodu on procedural grounds, as the substantive case was already before another judge.
VDM’s celebratory reaction has sparked mixed reactions online—while some hailed it as a victory for free speech, others criticized his approach as insensitive and provocative.
