At 39, actress and reality TV star Venita Akpofure says she still gets approached by men, and interestingly, most of the attention comes from younger men.
Speaking on the ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast, Venita said she believes she could easily pass for someone much younger than her age. She also explained that younger men seem to be more confident when it comes to making their intentions known.
She said:
“I am 39, but if I told you I was 28, you would believe me. I only get approached by younger men. They are more courageous than the older ones.
“What they don’t have in their bank accounts, they make up for with bravery and audacity”, she stated.
For Venita, age does not appear to stop potential suitors from making a move. She said the younger men who approach her may not necessarily have the financial strength of older men, but they often make up for it with confidence and boldness.
