VeryDarkMan has accused Ubi Franklin, who happens to be managing Davido’s wife, Chioma of allegedly defrauding an individual
In a video shared on his Instagram page, VDM claimed that Franklin refused to honor a transaction, allegedly misusing Chioma’s name to defraud an individual of ₦10 million in June 2024.
To support his claims, VeryDarkMan played purported audio recordings of Franklin’s conversations with the alleged victim. He gave Franklin a 72-hour ultimatum to refund the money, threatening further action if the demand is not met.
The influencer also accused Franklin of a pattern of similar behavior, alleging that he had previously reported Franklin for misusing Davido’s name for fraudulent purposes.
In his post, he wrote:
“@Davido, I cannot understand how Ubi Franklin, a manager under 30BG, is out here scamming people. I have reported him to you before. Anyways, Ubi Franklin, you have till Tuesday to pay up.”
