VeryDarkMan (VDM) has been conferred with a new traditional title by the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, during his visit to Iwo, Osun State
At the colourful ceremony, VDM was dressed in traditional Aso Oke attire as the monarch honoured him with the title of “Atayese One of Nigeria, Orisha Nla.”
Videos from the event showed the activist receiving the honour in the presence of the paramount ruler and other dignitaries, marking another highlight of his visit to the ancient town.
The visit followed a royal invitation extended by the Oluwo after both men reportedly held a lengthy discussion on national issues and good governance.
