Social media critic VeryDarkMan, has filed a petition against Federal House of Representatives member Alex Ikwechegh after a video surfaced showing the Abia lawmaker assaulting and threatening a cab driver.
In the video, Ikwechegh is seen threatening to harm the driver, imprison him in a generator house, and even making him “vanish.”
The petition, filed by VeryDarkMan, accuses Ikwechegh of abuse of power, assault, attempted murder, and making life-threatening statements.
The petition is also signed by VeryDarkMan’s lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju.
The incident, which involved Bolt driver Mr. Stephen Abuwatseya, gained attention when Abuwatseya recounted his experience in an interview with VeryDarkMan on Monday.
