A peaceful protest took place at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, led by activist VeryDarkMan alongside members of the Ratel Movement and other concerned Nigerians.
The demonstrators gathered to draw the attention of authorities to the continued captivity of school children and teachers a.bducted in Oyo state, who remain in a forest with no visible rescue effort or progress.
They called for urgent intervention and a coordinated rescue operation to ensure the safe return of those affected.
During the protest, VeryDarkMan also spoke on broader national concerns, noting the rising cost of living, economic hardship, and public frustration over governance and accountability.
He questioned the authorities on their handling of insecurity and the socio-economic challenges facing citizens.
Security presence was observed around the Defence Headquarters as the protest remained peaceful.
