VeryDarkMan has finally addressed the controversy surrounding the alleged missing N180M from his NGO account
In a recent statement, he dismissed the claims as false, revealing that the money is still intact in his bank account.
VeryDarkMan expressed his disappointment with the online reaction to his initial disclosure, stating that he had not anticipated the level of backlash he received.
He criticized social media users for their lack of critical thinking, accusing them of blindly accepting information without conducting their own research.
The activist lamented the fact that nobody took the time to analyze the situation and draw their own conclusions.
Instead, he claimed that people hastily hurled insults at him without considering the facts. Verydarkman pointed out the inconsistencies in the narrative, asking rhetorically why he would travel to Jos to report the incident when the police headquarters is located in Abuja.
By speaking out, Verydarkman aims to set the record straight and clear his name.
He said:
“I am shocked and disappointed by the gullibility of social media users,”
“When I disclosed that N180M was allegedly hacked from my NGO account, I expected some level of skepticism and critical thinking. Instead, people swallowed the story hook, line, and sinker without bothering to research or analyze the facts.”
“Nobody sat down to think, ‘If N180M was really missing from my account, would I be going to Jos to report it when the police headquarters is in Abuja?’ It’s common sense, people! But no, they would rather hurl insults and jump to conclusions without considering the evidence.”
He continued, “I want to set the record straight: the money is intact in my bank account. The whole story was a fabrication, and I’m appalled that people were so quick to believe it. It’s a sad commentary on the state of critical thinking in our society.”
