Veteran Nollywood actor Tito Harrison shared a heart-wrenching account of his struggles with liver disease and a chronic ulcer, which left him bedridden and financially drained

In a candid interview on Biola Bayo’s Talk to B show, Harrison revealed he was forced to sell his house, cars, and belongings to cover medical expenses, eventually moving in with his mother-in-law.
He praised his wife for standing by him during this dark period, crediting her as his greatest blessing.
Harrison also spoke about the industry’s harsh judgment, recalling how some mocked his condition in the media.
Despite the challenges, he remains grateful for his wife’s unwavering support.
He said in part:
“I sold my house, car, and everything I had to pay hospital bills. After moving to a rented house, I couldn’t afford the rent anymore, so we had to stay at my mother-in-law’s place,”
“The luck I had was my wife. When I was battling with liver disease and a chronic ulcer, my wife stood by me when everybody left me. It is good to have a good wife. If I come to this world again, it is my wife I will marry,”
“Some people granted an interview saying, ‘It is finished for Tito Harrison, he’s now living with his mother-in-law.’ I have the testimony to that. I didn’t throw away the magazine. Even if it had been so, if you can’t rally around me, you don’t vilify me or kill my reputation,”
