Victor Osimhen, Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker, has reportedly been accused of assaulting a journalist outside an entertainment venue in Istanbul, Turkey

The alleged incident occurred as Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, reacted aggressively to reporters trying to photograph him.
According to Turkish outlet Posta.com.tr, Osimhen is accused of attacking journalist Tolga Bozduman after leaving the venue with friends. Reports state he punched Bozduman and made verbal threats.
Bozduman described the encounter, saying, “Three colleagues and I were taking pictures of Osimhen at the entrance. When the camera flashes went off, he lost his temper, charged at me, attempted to grab my camera, and punched me in the head. My right side is still in pain.”
He continued, “Osimhen started swearing and offered money to delete the footage. When we refused, he threatened, ‘I will destroy you.”
The alleged incident has sparked criticism, tarnishing Osimhen’s reputation as a football star. Neither Galatasaray nor Napoli has released a statement addressing the situation.
