Victor Osimhen has come under fire following clash with Villarreal defender Santiago Mouriño during Galatasaray’s 2-1 pre-season loss at RAMS Park
The Super Eagles striker became involved in a confrontation with the Uruguay international after Mouriño used his body to stop him from moving into a threatening position inside the box.

Rather than ending with the play, the confrontation continued, with Osimhen approaching Mouriño before other Galatasaray players stepped in to separate the pair.
Villarreal manager Iñigo Pérez was unhappy with Osimhen’s reaction and argued that the Nigerian should have been sent off for the incident.
“There is not much to say about the football, because the opposing team didn’t come onto the field to play football, but to fight,” Pérez said.
“Osimhen attacked our player out of nowhere and only got a yellow card.”
