A video showing the burial of Nigerian singer Azeez Adeshina, widely known as Destiny Boy, has sparked a wave of reactions online
The clip captures the singer’s final journey as his body arrived at his family home in Ogun State to begin his funeral rites. In the footage, a white hearse with sirens blaring drives into the Odo Rori compound in Ayetoro, Yewa, carrying the late Afro Fuji star.
Destiny Boy’s untimely death earlier this week had already ignited debates online, with some reports hinting at police involvement.
Despite the controversies, the family held the burial on Friday, January 23. Social media users reacted strongly to the video, with many questioning the decision to lay him to rest at home instead of a public cemetery, expressing both concern and bewilderment.
