Renowned hair vendor Wanneka has rejected recent claims that she is romantically involved with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The accusations surfaced in a statement by controversial blogger Gistlover, who alleged Wanneka, along with Nancy Isime, Ini Edo, Hilda Baci, and others, were linked romantically to the Senate President.
Responding to these claims, Wanneka, in a post that has now been deleted, refuted all allegations made by Gistlover. She clarified that she has no relationship or dealings with Godswill Akpabio and advised Gistlover to verify their information before making such accusations.
Wanneka emphasized that she has been married for nearly her entire life, even before moving to Lagos, and asserted her ability to account for all her earnings. She highlighted that she built her business from the ground up and condemned the allegations as disrespectful not only to herself but to all hardworking women.
