Nollywood actress Bimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, is on cloud nine after scooping three awards at the recently concluded Emperor Awards. Sharing her excitement on Instagram, she opened up about how meaningful this recognition is for her career.
Her and husband Lateef Adedimeji’s collaboration, Lisabi, was crowned Digital Movie of the Year, while her own blockbuster, Iyawo Alhaji, took home two awards: Best Actress in a Lead Role for Mo Bimpe herself and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Adeniyi Johnson.
Overflowing with gratitude, Mo Bimpe wrote on her Instagram page:
“We brought 3 awards home from the just-concluded Emperor Awards. Such a beautiful feeling to be recognised for your hard work! A huge thank you to Emperor Awards @emperorawards for this incredible honour.”
She continued, celebrating both movies:
“LISABI won Digital Movie of the Year, congratulations to us hubby @adedimejilateef. And our fav IYAWO ALHAJI movie got two awards, Nollywood Actress in a Lead Role for me and Nollywood Actor, in a Supporting Role for @adeniyijohnson in IYAWO ALHAJI, congratulations Ondo!”
Ending on a heartfelt note, she added:
