Whitemoney has responded to criticism from media personality Do2dtun over comments made during an awards ceremony
Whitemoney had accepted the Afrobeats Single of the Year award on behalf of singer Flavour, stating it was “on behalf of the Igbos.” Do2dtun called the remark unnecessary and tribalistic..
In response, Whitemoney clarified that he was simply celebrating the achievement of an Igbo artist in a genre dominated by Yoruba artists, and apologized if his words caused any harm.
