Whoopi Goldberg admits her s3x life is made up of “hit-and-runs” when she “needs it”

The 70-year-old star – who has been divorced three times – has got candid about her love life as she discussed a woman in a Cosmopolitan essay who is in a long-term relationship but misses her single life including nights out and casual flings.

Speaking on The View, Whoopi said: “I bar hop, I go hang. I am single.

“I do hit-and-runs when I need it, but I am not married to anybody [and] I don’t have responsibilities.”

The Sister Act star has been opened about her views on traditional relationships, admitted that as she got older she reassessed her views.

She told Interview Magazine: “In the last 25 years, I recognised that not everybody’s cut out to be in a relationship. Some people are just cut out to be one-night stands.

“I don’t want to live with anybody. I lived with my daughter. That’s all I can handle.

“I have lots of people that I love, but I don’t need them living with me. I don’t need to be sleeping with them.”

Whoopi – who has daughter Alex, 51, with first husband Alvin Martin – was also married to David Claessen from 1986 to 1988 before her third marriage to Lyle Trachtenberg in 1994, and she admitted she doesn’t enjoy thinking about a partner and their needs.
