Nigerian singer Eazi has been opening up about how he handled money and lifestyle choices in the early days of his relationship with Temi Otedola, and some of his revelations are a bit surprising.
According to him, even with his growing fame at the time, he wasn’t focused on luxury living. In fact, he didn’t even own a car while they were dating.
He explained that his thinking back then was more about investments than appearances, so expensive cars didn’t feel necessary to him.
“I didn’t even have a car while dating Temi Otedola. I got my first car in 2021, a Range Rover, because I saw cars as liabilities,” he said.
Eventually, he changed his stance a bit and went on to buy a Range Rover, marking his first step into owning a luxury vehicle.
Even with his success in music and business ventures, including fintech and gaming projects, Mr Eazi says he still thinks carefully about spending.
He also revealed that he has a dream car in mind, but it’s still out of reach for now.
“My dream car is the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which is about $350,000… but I still can’t afford it yet,” he admitted.
