Stella Maris Okafor, widow of the late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has paid tribute to her husband on what would have been his birthday
Sharing moving video on social media, she wrote: “Keep resting in the Lord. Happy posthumous birthday, my husband. Guys, please let’s continue to celebrate a living legend.”
In another post accompanied by pictures piled in a video, she added: “Happy posthumous birthday to my lovely husband. Thank you for being such an amazing husband and father. Happy heavenly birthday on this special day. We remember the love, joy, and laughter you shared with everyone. I and your children vow to honor your memory every day. We miss you so much. Continue to rest in peace. It is well.”
Mr Ibu, born on October 17, 1961, was celebrated for his comedic talent and charismatic presence in Nollywood. He passed away on March 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy cherished by fans and colleagues alike.
