A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party loyal to FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and embattled National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu has announced the expulsion of several prominent figures
They include Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, and former Deputy National Chairman (South) Bode George.
Also listed for removal were the party’s Board of Trustees Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara; newly sworn-in National Chairman, Tanimu Turaki (SAN); newly sworn-in Deputy National Chairman (South), Taofeek Arapaja; and a number of others aligned with the opposing bloc.

The group further dissolved the State Executive Councils in Bauchi, Oyo, Zamfara, Yobe, Lagos, Edo, and Ekiti, directing the NWC to set up caretaker executives and organise fresh congresses across the affected states.
This latest action stems from the controversial national convention held last Saturday in Ibadan, which ended with the expulsion of Nyesom Wike and his allies from the party, pushing the PDP into deeper internal conflict.
