The woman was tied to a bed and beaten for hours, the city’s
public prosecutor announced today. The five allegedly pummelled the woman’s
stomach and the chest in a bizarre bid to free her from the “demons”
inside her. In order to stifle the woman’s screams, a towel was allegedly
stuffed in her mouth and she choked to death.

Her body was also discovered with bruises, after the whole
