A woman has died in a car accident while chasing her husband and his ide chic.
The middle-aged woman died in the lone accident in Calabar, Cross River State capital, while allegedly chasing her husband after spotting him with his side chic.
The sector commander, FRSC Cross River, Maikano Hassan also confirmed the accident.
The FRSC sector commander said that the incident which occurred on the Murtala Muhammed road. The Toyota Highlander the woman was driving skid off the road into a ditch by the highway, the commander emphasized.
‘’Though the woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, she died minutes later due to injury sustained from the incident,” Hassan said.
According to reports, the woman saw her husband leaving SPAR shopping mall in the company of another female when she tried to block her husband’s car with hers.
The reports further said the woman’s husband maneuvered his vehicle out of the attempted blockade and then took the Murtala Muhammed road, with his wife giving him a hot chase until she lost control of the vehicle.
