Actress Wumi Toriola has criticised actor Kunle Afod’s ex wife, Desola Afod following her recent comments about the way people in the Yoruba movie industry treat her.
The actress questioned why Desola keeps speaking about issues she believes do not concern her, particularly her comments about the Yoruba movie industry.
Wumi also brought up Desola’s separation from her former husband, actor Kunle Afod, and advised her to stop using the Afod name if she believes it is affecting how people treat her.
In a post ,she said:
“Desola Afod, you’re always putting your mouth in what doesn’t concern you. Stop saying ‘awon oni theatre’… You’ve divorced your ex-husband. If you feel the name Afod is bringing disr£spect to you, remove the name and use your father’s name.”
Wumi’s comments came hours after Desola spoke about the disrespect she said she experiences from people in the Yoruba movie industry, particularly actresses who call her by her name instead of addressing her as “Aunty.”
