Wunmi, the wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has responded to allegations made by Mohbad’s friend, Spending, who accused her of lying about the events surrounding Mohbad’s death
Wunmi denied the allegations, stating that the only argument she had with Mohbad was on their way home from a show because she was upset that he had fought. She emphasized that they never argued in the house.
Wunmi also accused Spending of lying about their interactions and claimed that he was being coached by others to make false statements against her. She stated that Spending had received money from a TikTok platform to make the allegations.
Wunmi expressed her determination to protect her son, Liam, and her late husband’s legacy, stating that she would not be bullied or silenced. She also called on those who have been speaking ill of her husband to stop desecrating his legacy.
In a defiant tone, Wunmi declared that she would no longer be intimidated and would stand up for herself and her family.
