Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has confronted and rebuked a man who called her “Olomo Kan,” a Yoruba phrase that translates to a “woman with one child.”
The comment, which appeared on her Instagram comment page, did not sit well with the actress, prompting her to respond publicly in a detailed and fiery post.
Wumi shared a screenshot of the man’s comment on her page, ensuring her followers could see it. In her caption, she addressed him directly:
“Uncle, I don’t know you. You woke up and typed ‘OLOMO KAN’ on my page. I don’t understand what you mean, but I want my followers to bless you with curse… Onigba omo, e ma sesin ni. Amin. You still dey bully Olomo kan abi, eni jeere. Amin. That stardom, you will get, but it will cause you trouble and will not give you rest.”
